Faith Journey
Are you ready for change in your life? Maybe you’ve been hurt, made some bad choices, or feel lost, and find yourself wondering, “What’s the point?”. Well, Jesus knows your pain and He wants to be there with you through everything you face. You can choose to have a relationship with Him to accept His love and grace. It will be the best decision you ever make and change your life like nothing else!
How to Know Jesus
Whether you know it yet or not, God’s plan for you is so much better than you can imagine, and this is the first step on that journey!
Begin by watching Bishop’s video below:
READY FOR SOMETHING NEW?
Jesus wants you to know Him, be your advocate, your provider your ultimate best friend. He also has a plan for you. In fact, He said in Jeremiah 29:11 that He has amazing plans for your life, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
And the Bible says, For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. — John 3:16-17 (NIV)
THERE’S HOPE
The problem is that we are humans and we’ve made mistakes (Romans 3:23). Big or small, the Bible calls these mistakes “sin,” and even one sin keeps us from having a relationship with God, and eventually leads to death (Romans 6:23). But there is good news! Through Christ, you have hope!
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified by His grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.”
— Romans 3:23 (ESV)
YOU ARE LOVED AND FORGIVEN
God created you…He designed you in His image! And before you were even born, Jesus died for you, to save you from all your sin past, present, and future. He knew the choices you would make, and He chose to save you anyway! No matter what you’ve done or been through, He loves you deeply and wants to have a real, honest relationship with you.
“God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”
— Romans 5:8 (NIV)
SIMPLY TRUST JESUS ONE STEP AT A TIME
Jesus was God’s perfect son (without any fault) and yet He chose to take on all of our sin and die for us. For you! Then God raised Him from the dead, and He became the only way to be saved.
Knowing Jesus is simply recognizing your need for Him, believing that He died and was resurrected for you…and inviting Him to be your friend, your advocate, your savior.
“I am the way, the truth and the life; no one comes to the Father, but through me.” — John 14:6 (NIV)
READY FOR A NEW BEGINNING
God says in Romans 10:9 that if we make Jesus Lord (the leader) of our lives, and believe that He was raised from the dead, we will be saved. If you’re ready to start a new life with Jesus leading you and experience His true peace and joy in your life, pray this simple prayer out loud:
I come to you in the name of Jesus. I acknowledge that I am a sinner, and I am sorry for my sins and the life that I have lived; I need your forgiveness.
I believe that Jesus Christ shed His blood on the cross at Calvary died for my sins. You said in the bible if we confess the Lord our God and believe in our hearts that God raised Jesus from the dead, we shall be saved.
I confess Jesus as my Lord. I believe that You raised Jesus from the dead. I accept Jesus Christ as my own personal Savior and according to His Word, right now I am saved. Amen.
In Jesus name I pray, amen
