From the founding generation to those who defend our freedoms today, we owe a debt of gratitude to all who have helped preserve this nation.
America’s story includes many great achievements. America has often stood as a beacon of hope for people seeking freedom and a better life. Its commitment to democracy, the rule of law, and individual liberty has inspired many across the world.

Proverbs 14:34 reminds us, “Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people.”

Psalm 33:12 declares, “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord.” This does not mean America has always honored God perfectly. True strength is found in righteousness, truth, humility, justice, and reverence for God.
As we look toward the future, we must ask: Where do we go from here? The answer is not found in anger, hatred, or fear. The way forward begins with prayer, repentance, truth, unity, and renewed commitment to what is right.
We must reaffirm the values that have guided America at its best: freedom, equality, justice, responsibility, compassion, and respect for human dignity. Every person is created in the image of God and should be treated with honor, regardless of background, race, status, or belief. We must rebuild families, strengthen communities, protect religious liberty, encourage civic responsibility, and teach the next generation the importance of faith, character, and service.
We must also care wisely for the land God has entrusted to us. Stewardship of creation is not merely a political issue; it is a biblical responsibility. Future generations deserve a nation that values both liberty and responsibility, both progress and preservation.
Abraham Lincoln warned, “A house divided against itself cannot stand.” Those words still speak to us today. If America is to move forward, we must seek unity without abandoning truth, justice without hatred, mercy without compromise, and freedom without moral chaos.
As we celebrate 250 years of America, let us do so with grateful hearts and humble spirits. Let us honor the sacrifices of the past, learn from our failures, cherish our Christian heritage, and commit ourselves to a better future.
