A Call to Live Boldly

“Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom He hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy.” – Psalm 107:2

These words are more than an ancient song of praise—they are a divine summons echoing across generations. They are a rallying cry for every man, woman, and child who has experienced the saving power of God. If you have been rescued from sin’s grip, if you have been redeemed by the blood of Jesus Christ, then you have a reason to speak up.

This world is filled with noise—messages, movements, and voices that demand our attention. But what the world doesn’t need is more silent saints. It doesn’t need believers who are content to whisper their faith in the corners of their private lives. This world needs bold voices and holy lives that declare with conviction and clarity: “Jesus saves!”

Redemption Is More Than a Blessing—It’s a Testimony

Redemption is deeply personal, but it was never meant to remain private. When Jesus paid for your sins on the cross, He didn’t just secure your eternity—He transformed your identity. You are no longer who you were. You have been bought at a price (1 Corinthians 6:20). You are not your own.

This truth demands a response. To “say so” means to proclaim with your lips and demonstrate with your life what Christ has done for you.

In your worship, let your voice rise in thanksgiving and adoration for the One who saved you.

In your choices, live differently from a world enslaved to sin and self.

In your love, show grace and compassion, even to those who least deserve it—just as Christ showed grace to you.

Your redemption story is not just for you. It’s for your family. Your friends. Your coworkers. A lost and dying world needs to see Christ alive in you.

Guard Your Heart and Mind

We live in an age where compromise has become convenient. The culture says, “Follow your heart. Do what feels right.” But Scripture warns us, “The heart is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked; who can know it?” (Jeremiah 17:9).

The enemy works tirelessly to distract and deceive, using every tool available—entertainment, social media, and even relationships. The Apostle Paul urges us to remain vigilant:
“We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.” (2 Corinthians 10:5).

Guarding your heart and mind isn’t passive. It requires intentionality:

Turn away from things that pollute your spirit.

Fill your mind with God’s Word.

Surround yourself with people who will encourage you in righteousness.

Flee Compromise

Paul’s words in 1 Corinthians 6:18-20 couldn’t be clearer:
“Flee sexual immorality. Every other sin a person commits is outside the body, but the sexually immoral person sins against his own body. Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.”

You can’t play with fire and expect not to get burned. Sin always costs more than we’re willing to pay and keeps us longer than we ever intended to stay. That’s why Scripture says to flee. Don’t flirt with compromise; don’t negotiate with temptation. Run to the safety of Christ.

A Life That Reflects the Redeemer

What does it mean to live as the redeemed?

Walk in the light. “For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light.” (Ephesians 5:8)

Reject idols. Whether it’s money, pleasure, status, or even self, nothing and no one should take God’s place in your heart.

Pursue holiness. Holiness isn’t old-fashioned; it’s the reasonable response to the extraordinary price Jesus paid for your freedom.

Romans 12:2 says it best:
“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God.”

This Is Your Moment to Say So

Psalm 107:2 calls the redeemed to action: “Let the redeemed of the Lord say so.”

To “say so” is not just about speaking—it’s about living boldly and faithfully in a way that points people to Jesus.

✅ Say so with your lips—share your testimony with courage.
✅ Say so with your choices—live with integrity and conviction.
✅ Say so with your love—extend mercy and kindness to a world that needs Christ.

Your story has power because your Redeemer has power. The chains He broke in your life may inspire someone else to seek His freedom.

A Call to Action

Today, pause and reflect on the price Christ paid for your redemption. Are there areas of compromise—thoughts, habits, relationships—that you need to surrender to Him? Bring them to the cross.

Pray as David did:
“Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.” (Psalm 51:10)

Commit yourself afresh to the Lord. Flee sin. Guard your mind. Glorify God with your body and spirit. You were bought at a price. Now live like it.

This is your moment. This is your mission. This is your message.

Let the redeemed of the Lord say so—and let the world see Christ alive in you.
